A Project Management software for KPMG's Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects that relied heavily on User Experience Design to deliver detailed Data Visualisation and Analytics for multiple user levels and roles.
The exercise included defining the overall design direction, visual & identity design, user flows for different user types, information architecture, UI, interfacing with and guiding front-end development, continuous testing and optimization in an agile development environment. This software is a major success with KPMG and its clients and was the first attempt to develop a software for Infrastructure Project Management, Analytics and Forecasting.

In early 2010 I was approached by KPMG to create a software that would automate their Risk Advisory Practice. More than a decade later we have worked on numerous versions and upgrades keeping in sync with changes in clients needs and new technology. The evolution has gone from a flash based locally run executable that connected to external servers to sync data, to the latest iteration that is a Angular 4.0 webapp with code that allows for teams to collaborate and sync in real-time. I have been responsible for the complete design lifecycle for all iterations and lead the project in its entirety including development and deployment by partnering with highly capable lead developers and guiding development teams to achieve the desired design goals.

At around the same time that Salesforce was gaining steam I was approached by a Norwegian client to collaborate on a B2B SaaS platform for the Scandinavian market that focused on Sales Reporting and Analytics. We started from scratch and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to design the identity and user experience of the project from the ground up.
Post that my role for the better part of 4 years was to lead the complete design lifecycle for the software, working closely with both the engineers and enterprise sales to identify and define new requirements and enhancements leading to the design, development and deployment of new features and upgrades to the web-app.
2010 saw a great surge in short term campaigns to promote new products using social media in Europe. I design numerous online campaigns that used a combination of gamified competition websites and social media for new product launches and managed development and deployment as well.
We ran many successful campaigns in Norway and Sweden for L'Oreal. These campaigns managed to acquire over 50,000 registered users over just 3 days through incentivised social media seeding. Overall a great success and a very satisfying exercise as results were clearly visible immediately.
Entercard in Europe was using outdated clunky apps for its partnership credit card apps. I led the update and upgrade of the look and feel, interactivity and overall user-experience of the apps. The UI was redesigned by creating new icons and icon animations along with the new navigation to make the apps more intuitive. A light and fresh look made for easier user interaction and kept focus on data and functionality.
The challenge was to maintain a consistent overriding Entercard design language while catering to nearly 12 brands and staying in line with and speaking to their brand identities.

A company with a legacy that dates back to 1975, Afflatus, is one of the leading exporters of apparel and home products in the country. With production facilities in India and a product & design studio in London, they deliver to some of the biggest brands in the world.
We were appointed by them over a decade ago and have played the role of a brand custodian to them since then. Having developed their brand identity, print collateral, and first ever website, back in 2008, we have successfully carried them through 3 website upgrades, over the years. Their website and corporate brochure projects are always a great source of learning, as they always bring with them, alignment to new trends in online brand communication and exposure to the latest web technologies.
The 1:1 scale model stems from the decision to concentrate the research efforts of the Masters in Transportation Design team on the search for a solution that blends style with technology and hybrid propulsion with excitement. The result is a state of the art ecological vehicle with the potential to turn the dream of an unpolluted world into reality, without sacrificing the thrill of driving. Taking as its starting point the problems connected to the nature of hybrid vehicles and their somewhat unappealing image, due to their being perceived as being something more intellectual than emotional, the project set itself the challenge of creating a model that was not just “useful” but also aesthetically sophisticated, with startling lines and heightened potential, that might provide these kinds of technologies with greater visibility and appeal.
